Clean Energy Fuels Corp., a clean energy fuel provider, is opening a renewable natural gas station in Romeoville, Illinois, that will provide clean energy fuel for Amazon.com Inc. and other truck fleets in the greater Chicago area. The fueling station is expected to provide 1.4 million gallons of clean fuel annually. Chad Lindholm, senior vice president of Clean Energy, said the Romeoville station represents the next step in carbon reduction for Amazon. Located at 300 Southcreek Parkway, the new station is part of an agreement between Clean Energy (Nasdaq: CLNE) and Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) that will see 19 stations built nationwide.
