Mike Selep, who currently is the executive director of the Northern Will County Special Recreation Association, was chosen for the job. Reply BOLINGBROOK, IL — At its March 16 board meeting, the Bolingbrook Park District Board of Commissioners selected Mike Selep as executive director. The opening for executive director comes after the resignation of Ron Oestreich earlier this year. 'We had an impressive selection of candidates to choose from. Mike rose to the top because of his high level of experience within the field of parks and recreation, as well as his familiarity and involvement within our community,' Park Board President Sue Vastalo said in a news release.
