A winter storm warning is in effect Saturday night and into the early morning hours Sunday for Winnebago, Boone, McHenry and Lake counties, the National Weather Service in Chicago said in an updated forecast.The cities of Rockford, Belvidere, Crystal Lake, Algonquin, McHenry, Woodstock, Waukegan, Buffalo Grove, Mundelein and Gurnee are within the winter storm zone.At the height of the storm, the snow will fall at a rate of an inch per hour, the service said.During the storm, northeasterly winds will gradually increase to gusts of 25 mph.
