Over 30 Romeoville HS students earned the recognition. (Shutterstock)ROMEOVILLE, IL — Over 30 Romeoville High School students have recently been named as Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, according to a post on the high school's Facebook page.The selection of this award is based on student academic performance after six semesters and standardized test scores, the school said. Students named as Illinois State Scholars are:Roselyn Adjapong, Michelle Amoo, Josefina Ballone, Yesenia Becerra Vazquez, Lillian Borbas, Ryan Budz, Lydia Delk, Maya Edrada, Patrick Flores, Caden Griffin, Fafali Hodogbey, Evalyn Huizar, Kike Idris, Faith Jones, Anthony Juarez, Savana Jurgens, Madeline Koperski, Connor Lee, Michele Lessaris, Raymundo Martinez, Veronica Nowak, Marissa Palmiter, Rudra Patel, Aidan Povilaitis, Nadia Povilaitis, Cesar Rangel, Dale Reeves, Areli Rosas, Jacob Scholes, Maryam Sohail Warraich, Marissa Stein, Sean Vodak and Megan West.
