Kyle Donovan, of Oak Park Country Club, and Jeff Kellen, of Butler National in Oak Park, carded 3-under-par 68s Monday to share the first-round lead in the Illinois PGA Championship at Makray Memorial in Barrington. The tourney, played for the first time 100 years ago, is being held for the first time at Makray and Doug Ghim's course record 65 stood up through the first 18 holes of the 54-hole test. Ghim, now a PGA Tour player, set the record 11 years ago when he was playing in the Illinois State Junior Championship.
