The Marching Spartans of Romeoville High School were voted Grand Champion as well as winning first place in Class 3A on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at the Maple Leaf Classic in Geneseo, Illinois. Romeoville also won honors for best music. Clark Anderson and Adam Hill are the band directors, and the 138-member unit is led on the field by drum majors Hannah Thomas, Lillian Knauer and Alex Trujillo.
